ICSI Results for December 2011 Declared!!

After a long wait, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has finally declared the CS December 2011 results a few hours ago. The students can check the CS result online at http://icsi.examresults.net

The students can also avail the facility of SMS to get their CS result in their mobile inboxes. For checking the results through SMS, students shoulld type the following in their Write Message/Compose box of their cellphone -
ICSIFOUN<SPACE>ROLL NUMBER or
ICSIEXEC<SPACE>ROLL NUMBER or
ICSIPROF<SPACE>ROLL NUMBER
and send it to 56263.

Online Exemption Test by Sify for ICSI students.

Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has recently signed an agreement with M/s. Sify Software Ltd., as a result of which the online test for compulsory computer training of CS students, which was earlier conducted by Aptech Ltd. will be henceforth conducted by Sify Software Ltd.

For the ease of CS students, Sify has developed an online testing portal where the students can register themselve for the test and download their certificate after 15 days of passing the online test. This facility is provided to ensure minimum delay in receiving the certificate after clearing the online test.

Students can go to the online portal (http://icsi.sifyitest.com), register for the test and block a centre for appearing in the test. Payment for the ICSI online exemption test can be made both in online and offline mode (through branches of SBI using PowerJyoti scheme).
CS students can mail their queries and doubts to icsi_hlpdesk@sifyitest.com with a copy to asit.rath@icsi.edu

Worries over Registration Letter and Identity Card

So, I had thought that once I get the study modules, I will be free from worries and will be able to study in peace. But looks like "Peace" doesn't come that cheap.
The thing is that I have not received the registration letter yet, nor my identity card. I also didn't receive any receipt from the ICSI eastern regional office regarding the payment of fees. And the bank counterpart of Demand Draft, that I had received while creating the DD for ICSI, I have misplaced that too. The only proof that I have is the study modules issued by ICSI that I have brought home.
The only consolation that I am having at the moment is something that I had read on one of the social networking websites of CA and CS students where it is mentioned that delivery of registration letter and identity card usually requires a time period of one month.
What am I gonna do if I don't get the registration letter by mid-March?
Only future has the correct answer.

Update: Date Oct 10, 2012 The registration letter and Identity card have not yet been delivered by post. However I received an SMS from ICSI which mentioned by registration number. Using that registration number I logged in to the  ICSI portal and downloaded my registration letter and identity card.

Study Modules Received - The adventure begins

So after a lot of pondering over the thought "to join or not to join" the Company Secretary (CS) course, I finally gave in to my wish and got myself enrolled with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India on 2nd February of 2012, and brought home, bagfull of new study modules (to be exact six modules).
Aah.. That unique smell of fresh ink and untouched pages.. it's almost addicting.

Now, all I have to do is start making friends with these books.
